How to steam clean your microwave

Cleaning your microwave can be a messy and time-consuming task. Find out how to use steam to quickly and perfectly take care of your least favorite household task.

What you need:

  • Microwave safe bowl

  • Water

  • 1 Sliced lemon

Step 1.

Fill your microwave safe bowl 3/4s full of tap water and add tap water. Place in the microwave.

Step 2.

Microwave for up to 5 minutes, watching carefully. Once the water starts to boil stop the microwave and allow the steam to build up. Carefully remove the bowl after 1-2 minutes.

Step 3.

Lastly, wipe the microwave clean with a microfiber cloth and done!
