Mint, Lime and Cucumber Infused Water

The Herb’n Living team has been busy in the garden this summer and we thought it would be fun to share a few of our favorite herb infused recipes. Fresh homegrown herbs are in plenty this time of year and there are so many fun and delicious possibilities!

First up is a refreshing favorite: cucumber, lime and fresh mint infused water. Unbelievably simple this combination is refreshing (especially on a hot an humid day in STL) and will leave you smiling!

Recipe: Cucumber, Lime and Fresh Mint Infused Water

Ingredients

  • 15 round slices of cucumber, about

  • 1 lime – sliced

  • 15-25 fresh mint leaves

  • 64 ounces of water

Step One: Clean

  • Fill sink and add one cup of vinegar to soak cucumber and lime. This will remove wax and residual dirt. 

  • Throughly rinse your garden fresh mint leaves and pick from the stem. 

Step Two: Slice

  • Slice cucumber and lime into 1/4 inch slices

 Step Three: Combine

  • Combine slices, mint and water into a large drink dispenser or smaller mason jars for portable, individual servings

Step Four: Chill and Serve

  • Allow ingredients to steep for a minimum of four hours in the refrigerator and enjoy!
